Thanks for the information. I couldn't agree with you more Tim about helping their project out in the short term. In saying this I am currently not running any tasks

Can you run SSE2 on a Windows AMD PC and does anybody know if it brings the runtime down from around 3 hours? On a AMD 5900 X CPU

The reason for no work currently been sent is because gene_work_generator isn't running. Reason could be to allow "work units waiting for validation" to drop to 0. It currently has 0 waiting. I cannot be 100% sure but I think the reason for "no work" is related related to the thread titled "Storage Problem" located in the news thread
5) Message boards : Number crunching : Diverging run time vs CPU time for tasks (Message 2732)

Are you running any other CPU intensive software? If you are try closing it. I would also try restarting the computer. Feel free to have a look at my system details in my account I am running the same CPU as you are and my times are under 3 hours

I haven't had any in a while but occasionally I will receive a task that runs for under 1 hour (Ryzen 9 3900X). I am guessing these are just shorter tasks. Has anybody else noticed the shorter tasks?

Thanks for the insight. The FANTOM–1 experiment will be completed on Sunday 29 or Saturday 28th (depending where you are)January 2023. To get to that date I used the following information (87554 - 60500) / 91.9 from science stats page
11) Message boards : Number crunching : average credit graph is now 0 (Message 2620)
Posted 7 Apr 2022 by Speedy
Reason for no points could simply be because none of your pending work units had their other copy returned to make you will result valid and then get granted credit for the 2 days that you speak of

Is there any plans to work on another project alongside "Homo Sapiens (OneGenE - FANTOM-1)" or is the gold just to finish "Homo Sapiens" that is currently running?

Thank you I was aware that was there I just wasn't sure how to work out the end date

I am interested to know whether or not the current project that is running Homo Sapiens (OneGenE - FANTOM-1) has a estimated completion date?

Congratulations. I am I am guessing the projects that were used in these papers will be changed on the science status page from "on hold" to "finished" at some stage?
