There will be probably another batch on E. coli.
We are also doing some offline testing on human genome data, waiting for preliminary results and also checking if it were feasible to run it on BOINC.

Is there any plans to work on another project alongside "Homo Sapiens (OneGenE - FANTOM-1)" or is the gold just to finish "Homo Sapiens" that is currently running?

The main goal right now is to finish the FANTOM-1 experiment. Alongside there will be another dataset of Vitis vinifera. We are planning to do new experiments, either with other datasets or organisms. We are also evaluating the feasibility to do something with Single-cell transcriptomics data.

Thanks for the insight. The FANTOM–1 experiment will be completed on Sunday 29 or Saturday 28th (depending where you are)January 2023. To get to that date I used the following information (87554 - 60500) / 91.9 from science stats page
