At the moment there is no GPU-project available for biological science, except GPUGrid, which is often out of work. So if you add a GPU-App you could fetch many GPU-Cards.

The SSL thing is on the todo list (after the challenge). Talking about GPU we have a slightly different version of the algorithm which may be suitable, but we don't have enough knowledge of both openCL an cuda for doing something....
