Hello everyone,
By profession I'm a financial analyst working in the renewable energy sector. I'm also very interested in IT, the sciences in general and various other topics. You could say I'm a nerd (feels like everyone who runs BOINC is in some way or another).
I have lived in 3 countries (anticipating a move soon so probably will have have to update this in the near future) and speak 4 languages to varying degrees of fluency.
Besides my day to day work and my passion for technology and programming I enjoy a variety of music and have been playing the guitar for over a decade.
Love to discuss and argue and am the devil's advocate incarnate.
All computers (only 2 set up right now) are laptop's that are in still in use to some degree, I just want to make the most of the hardware knowing that it will hit obsolescence within a few years.

TN Grid is CPU only which is good cause most laptops have insufficient cooling capabilities to run both CPU & GPU at 100% full time (or in my case the fans get too loud and annoy me)
I believe in modern medicine and advancing it through computational power which is why I like supporting TN-GRID, Rosetta and GPU Grid as a whole. Just picked this particular one because it seemed less popular than the others and I feel that the work is equally meaningful. |
