So this is it, no more work in the foreseeable future?

This phase will end soon, there is only one small batch waiting to be queued.

So this is the end then? Hopefully just for the current phase.

Any updates on what's going on behind the scenes? Will there be more batches of similar size, or can we expect something bigger?

Got 54 on my PC this morning.

Yep, I caught the launch and filled my rigs!

There seems to be a constrant stream of tasks flowing. Get 'em while they're hot!

well, not exactly, this batch is limited (testing things), there will be more in a few days but not that many. The main stuff is still work in progress...

Yeah, I saw later that the supply has dried up. At least we know that there will be more work at some point, unlike many other project.

Any idea when we could expect the batch to drop? Any chance this week?

I have my scripts ready to catch some of the tasks =)

No tasks for more than 6 months, no real crunching work for more than a year...people usually move somewhere else.

We just crunch where there's work, until something happens here as well ¯\_(' ')_/¯

Any new work expected in the not too distant future? I suppose only of the the New Year, but still, I'm hopeful.

The log shows it happening...

<stderr_txt> Start @ Sat Nov 01 06:09:08 2025 Start @ Sat Nov 01 08:25:20 2025 Start from checkpoint: 1 |513890244| Finish @ Sat Nov 01 16:19:21 2025

Whether it was you or Boinc automatically pausing the task - it happened.

Learning something every day. Thanks again!

I only had 1 invalid task out of 300 and, as suspected, it was Windows vs Linux, v1.11 vs v1.10. What was unexpected is that the 3rd replicate was sent to a Windows system but it validated the original Linux task, not mine.

Either way, when can we expect more work here? :) I'm crunching SiDock and WCG while waiting, but checking the forum regularly to catch any possible tasks.

The problem with that failed task is likely related to pausing/resuming tasks, see here...

Right, this seems plausible in my case, although I'm not sure whether I actually suspended any TN-Grid tasks (I actually had to suspend other projects to jump into this one).
Thanks!

I was lucky enough to snag 72 of the 1.11 tasks. So far no errors I have 23 completed with 17 pending validation and the others showing Credit issued. on my Completed with Credit half my wing men were Windows and half Linux.

No invalids here either after 67 validations. Almost all of them are on Win10/11, a few on Linux with a various mix of wingmen. I do see v1.10 apps being used on some Linux tasks though.

I wonder if the v1.10 vs v1.11 validation problem has been fixed. Got 8 tasks finished on v1.11, waiting for my wingmen who are all running Linux or Darwin...

It is not a problem for this batch.

Great, thanks!

So there will be a new batch coming? Hopefully a larger one? :D

Not that big ... 8964 tasks

Well, I managed to max out all 5 of my rigs so I'm more than happy! Looking forward to more activity in this project.

Another handful of tasks were dropped, but no luck catching any of them.

Thanks for the feedback!
Do you have any information about work that might be available in the not too distant future? Medical projects are all either down or out of work so we are kind of hungry for new tasks. LHC is an interesting backup, but life science projects are the ones that can quickly have positive impact on humanity :)
