Abscisic Acid (ABA) gene network expansion
(Message 602)
Posted 18 Nov 2016 by SamuelValentini We have started a new experiment related to the AREB2 gene. AREB2 is a Bzip transcription factor that starts the ABA signaling cascade. In this experiment we want to find genes that are directly regulated by the AREB2 in order to get a better understanding of the ABA signaling in Vitis Vinifera. The name of the workunit is “vv_aba_areb2†|

Abscisic Acid (ABA) gene network expansion
(Message 588)
Posted 31 Oct 2016 by SamuelValentini Abscisic Acid (ABA) is a phytohormone involved in drought tolerance in land plants. It takes a fundamental role in plant life partecipating in the control of root growth, seed and bud dormancy, guard cell responses and cellular osmoprotection. It is also involved in fruit ripening. Our aim is to extend ABA gene network in grapevine (VITIS VINIFERA), starting from a list of genes known to be related to ABA response. The workunit name for this expansions starts with "vv_aba" |
