Error uploading results

Posted 30 Aug 2018 by BE02252 Over the past weeks, I've had several workunits that can't be uploaded from my Linux Boinc client (7.6.31 x86_64). E.g. do 30 aug 2018 08:41:42 CEST | TN-Grid Platform | Started upload of 144580_Hs_T188475-LPAR1_wu-253_1535323582290_0_0 do 30 aug 2018 08:41:46 CEST | | Project communication failed: attempting access to reference site do 30 aug 2018 08:41:46 CEST | TN-Grid Platform | Temporarily failed upload of 144580_Hs_T188475-LPAR1_wu-253_1535323582290_0_0: transient HTTP error do 30 aug 2018 08:41:46 CEST | TN-Grid Platform | Backing off 03:01:37 on upload of 144580_Hs_T188475-LPAR1_wu-253_1535323582290_0_0 do 30 aug 2018 08:41:48 CEST | | Internet access OK - project servers may be temporarily down. At this moment I have 5 such results, and I've already canceled several others. But many results still upload without any problem. The units which fail upload are retried after a couple of hours, only to fail again - I've never seen any workunit which failed the first time to upload successfully afterwards. So while the log file seems to indicate a temporarily connection problem, it seems more like there is actually something wrong with the workunit itself. Is this a known problem? Anything I can do? |

Split CPID

Posted 31 Jul 2017 by BE02252 Seems I'm having the same problem - one host running 4 BOINC projects. 3 are running several months/years, all on the same CPID. 2 weeks ago I added tn-grid with same username and same email address. Still today tn-grid uses another CPID -which means I'm not receiving any gridcoins for my work here... |
