While browsing the returned results I found some validation errors and inconclusive (probably going to be invalidated) coming from computer 42 (http://gene.disi.unitn.it/test/show_host_detail.php?hostid=42). As an example, by looking at workunit 1324, there are two results coming from 26 (which I own) and 42. They are marked as inconclusive, which means that the output results differ.
Now I manually checked the results on the server. They were sent in gzipped format and they are different. When I tried to unzip the result coming from host 42 I got this nice message: invalid compressed data--format violated. The size of the two files is the same. It seems that the output file were corrupted either while compressing it client-side or transferring it.
Host 42 is using a brand new (probably early-alpha) version of the boinc client. Could be a bug there...

I'm using beta version of client without problems on other projects
Have i to downgrade the version to latest stable?

I don't really know if the client version is the problem, but it seems that this host is the only one with this behavior, so this may be a good clue. Maybe you can post this problem on the boinc-client beta mailing list.
