We still have to fix a lot of little things (hopefully this will not be too complex to do...). When we will be ready, we will send invitation codes to a restricted number of people willing to actively participate (just test and give feedback, nothing really difficult). Stay tuned!

I saw yesterday evening the same thing! Also my results were about 5 MB!
I will check and see if after zipping (since boinc automatically zip all the results before sending them) the size will decrease.

I checked the result file, the output file is indeed of that size and it is correct! Compressed it goes down to 1.2 MB, more reasonable I would say.
We have to wait until the server guys set the result to be compressed!

We should also think of compressing the input file (which is very big). This will save some bandwidth...

I noticed that, when I attached a linux machine to the project, BOINC downloaded 4 files with size about 70 MB!
Is it possible to compress that files?

It happens also for windows, in a slow connection it could take a bit.

It is not possible that I have to download 4-5 files of observation (about 300Mb)for performing only 10 working units. My internet connection became unusable for hours! Would it be possible to have more working unit on the same data and to have the input compressed?
